Meet the Board
As well as working as President of the South Dundas Chamber of Commerce, I work as a realtor with Solid Rock Realty. A lot of my work is in Iroquois, Brinston, Williamsburg, Morrisburg and other parts of eastern Ontario. Our real estate company’s head office is in Ottawa, with branch offices in Brockville, Kingston and Toronto. I originally started my real estate career in Morrisburg in 2003 and then worked with the remarkable Jacques Asselin in Iroquois until he retired. I miss working with Jacques, he is an amazing person.
The Chamber is important for helping support, connect and promote the community as a whole as well as the businesses in our area, including our neighbors along the river. As the Chamber of Commerce, we also foster connections and representation with municipal and provincial levels of government to support a strong and healthy local economy. The current board of directors and committee members are very dedicated and pro-active, a fantastic bunch to work with.
One of our famous events is the annual spring Home, Trade and Craft show at the Morrisburg Arena as well as other networking opportunities. I’m really looking forward to our second annual boat cruise along the majestic river this September 4th.
